getting to know me.
Abi Talbot
Content Creator and Freelancer.
I am a marketing assistant that specialises in social media marketing, having experience across all platforms such as; TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.

My Socials
Not only do I work in social media, I spend just as much time scrolling and creating in my free time and I am starting to build an audience.
I have always posted on TikTok, but I started to become consistent during 2020, which is actually what made me realise I wanted a career in marketing. I grew my following through posting fashion and beauty content. I still upload this style of content but I also create funny and relatable videos, even videos about marketing too.
After I started growing on TikTok, my Instagram simultaneously grew with it. My Instagram feed mainly revolves around beauty and travel. I like to keep my feed aesthetic and make sure it reflects my personality.
I use LinkedIn as a professional portfolio, showcasing my achievements and projects. I like to connect with others in the same industry for networking and for educational reasons, we all learn something off of eachother!
about me
I like football, coffee, makeup, animals, going for walks, going out for food and a lot of diet coke.

Trending sounds, hashtags and creating graphics and captions.
Reporting & Analytics

Video producting & editing
Mainly short form but experience with long form.
In my free time I like to stay productive. I have played football since I was young and it’s my favourite activity, I also go to the gym in the mornings and participate in boxing classes. Recently, I have also got into reading and love finding new recommendations through the TikTok reading community! I also love creating pinterest boards which I use as inspirations for everything. I always find myself taking photos of everything. Finally, I love spending time with my family and friends, whether it is going out for food or meeting for an oat milk latte.
In regards to marketing, I realised that it was the career I wanted to do when I was 17 through making my own videos and studying media at A-level. After that, I started watching YouTube videos on using Canva and completing online courses, gaining certificates on sites such as SEMrush and Hubspot to build my knowledge and got my first job in marketing. I am also currently a Level 3 content creator apprentice at Baltic Apprenticeship which I have nearly reached the end of. The apprenticeship included courses on SEO, content planning, Cava, WordPress, short form video, email marketing, analysis and evaluation and video production such as podcasting.
Freelance Work
I have recently started my freelance journey in attempt to help businesses convert their followers into customers!

DripModa.
I successfully manage DripMonda’s TikTok page, driving engagement and conversions.

Unsociably Social
I have created my own marketing page across social media and the web.

Photoshoots
During my time freelancing, I have taken part in multiple photoshoots/content days. This entails finding potential models, travelling to certain locations, setting up equipment and taking and editing photos and videos. I have travelled to Manchester for content days in the city and to Blackpool to indoor content rooms, I have done these both in teams and individually.
What I can bring to a team
I am a very positive person that can adapt quickly to situations. I am easy going, encouraging and I can take constructive criticism and act on it. I have worked in teams and independently so I am used to getting things done on my own and as a collaborative effort.
I have great time management and the thought of missing or being late for deadlines scares me. I can successfully, create strategies, analyse and create reports, create and edit content, engage and monitor and stay up to date with industry trends.
